This policy describes the game’s local gameplay, Google AdMob advertising and rewarded-ad features, and this privacy-and-support website. Questions can be sent to devtec930@gmail.com.
Data in the game
The game does not require an account. Puzzle progress, earned coins, unlocked cosmetics, achievements, streak information and settings are stored in the app’s local device storage. Saved puzzle progress is not uploaded to DevTec Studios. Version 0.4.0 integrates Google Mobile Ads through the Poing AdMob plugin for optional rewarded advertisements. Version 0.4.0 uses Google sample ad units. Version 0.4.1 configures DevTec Studios’ own AdMob units; availability depends on app review and store eligibility. Earlier builds through 0.3.4 do not contain this advertising SDK. No billing SDK is connected.
Optional rewarded advertising
Parcel Panic is designed to show optional rewarded advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. You choose whether to watch an ad for shifts, hints or coins. During integration testing, builds may use Google’s dedicated sample ad units; these do not earn advertising revenue. Production ad units use DevTec Studios’ AdMob publisher configuration and depend on Google’s account and app approval. A reward is granted only on the SDK’s completion event; closing early or a loading failure does not grant a reward. Shifts also refill with time.
In version 0.4.1, Google’s User Messaging Platform checks applicable privacy requirements at launch before the Google Mobile Ads SDK initializes. Ads remain unavailable while the privacy status is unknown or consent is required. In version 0.4.0 the advertising SDK initializes at launch. The advertising SDK can automatically collect and share IP addresses (which may estimate approximate location), app and ad interactions, performance and diagnostic information, and device or account-related identifiers. Google uses SDK data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention and encrypts it in transit using TLS. These SDK practices can apply even when test ads are used. DevTec Studios does not receive your advertising identifier or operate a remote gameplay analytics service.
Current releases request general-audience ad content and apply under-age-of-consent treatment to every ad request, with publisher first-party IDs disabled. They do not enable mediation networks or personalized advertising. Google controls ad availability and may review the app before allowing live advertising. Version 0.4.1 also applies under-age-of-consent treatment to the privacy request. Google may therefore determine that a consent form is not required. If Google requires a privacy options form, an Advertising Privacy Choices entry appears in the in-game privacy page so you can revisit your choices. The game does not collect or infer your date of birth. See Google’s privacy policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure for the provider’s processing practices.
Optional local diagnostics
Diagnostics are off by default. If enabled in the game’s privacy settings, diagnostic events remain in a local log. They are not automatically uploaded. You choose whether to include any diagnostic details when contacting support.
Device access
The game uses vibration for optional haptic feedback. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location. The advertising SDK uses internet access and may process device identifiers; the game does not request your precise location.
Retention and deletion
Local progress remains until you clear it or remove the app. To delete it, open Android Settings → Apps → Parcel Panic → Storage → Clear storage (wording varies by device). Uninstalling also removes the app’s local data. This deletes earned progress and preferences; there is no game account or cloud restore service. Google controls the retention of SDK data under its policies. Android’s advertising privacy settings let you reset or delete your advertising ID where available; contact Google through its privacy tools for requests concerning data it holds. Contact us for data DevTec Studios holds.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide. We use that information to respond and troubleshoot. Correspondence may be kept as needed to handle your request. To request deletion of support correspondence, contact the same address. Email is handled through the email service provider; avoid sending sensitive information.
Audience
The game is intended for teen and adult puzzle players aged 13 and above. It is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in a support message, contact us so we can address it.
This website and Google Play
This website uses no analytics scripts, advertising or tracking cookies set by DevTec Studios. Its hosting provider processes ordinary connection information needed to deliver pages. Google Play separately processes installation, testing and service information under Google’s policies; this is separate from the game’s local saved data.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if the game’s data practices change. The effective date appears above. Contact DevTec Studios at devtec930@gmail.com.
